Our Cannibal escape room is playing at our Escape This Sydney CBD center, 630 George Street, Sydney NSW, 2000. 

Located right in the heart of the CBD, our centre is easily accessible via public transport with plenty of paid and street parking options nearby.

Cannibal has a difficulty rating of 8 out of 10.  With complex puzzles, the focus is still on fun, interactivity, and immersiveness... but with some added challenge thrown in for good measure. 

Cannibal provides an outstanding balance between completing the game without too much frustration and giving players a thrilling experience. Highly recommended for date nights, bachelor/bachelorette parties, corporate events, and team building activities where you really want to put your team's problem solving skills to the test. ABSOLUTELY NOT! Cannibal is strictly an 18+ room, and we reserve the right to check ID before admitting players to the room.

Children as participants or spectators are not permitted in our 18+ Horror rooms. No exceptions will be made

Our website shows live availability and all bookings are confirmed immediately. It's the quickest and best way to secure your desired time slot.

At Escape This, all bookings are exclusive to your group. This has always been (and will remain to be) our policy before, during and after Covid.

If you want to be locked in a room with a group of people you have never met before (some people do!) then we recommend you try another escape room experience provider.

You certainly can, it is a popular thing to do! Whatever you choose to wear please wear closed footwear and, ideally, something that is comfortable to move around in.

You'll have one hour to escape the Cannibal's lair before he returns for dinner... 

We recommend you arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled start time and if you allow for 15 minutes afterwards, to catch your breath and debrief, your whole experience will last around 90 minutes. 

If, however, you are amongst the lucky few that escape Cannibal then your time with us may be a little shorter! 

The maximum group size that our Cannibal escape room can accommodate is 8 people.

Our group limits are set to optimise gameplay and ensure a truly immersive experience for all our guests. Fortunately for you, it is company policy to never compromise on your gameplay experience so these limits are NOT flexible! 

If your group is larger than 8 players we suggest that you book multiple rooms to start at the same time and split your group across the rooms. Thus ensuring the very best experience for everyone in your group.

Cannibal is a challenging room and we recommend that you already have some experience in escape rooms before attempting this room. For first time escapers we would recommend trying Pirates or The Wizards Chamber.

Spoken cues and clues are a key element of our escape rooms. 

Currently we have the clues for Cannibal available in English and Simplified Chinese, though we are working towards more language options in the future.

In the meantime, we recommend that the majority of your player group should be fluent in either English or Mandarin.

Yes! Cannibal is a wheelchair accessible escape room, and a popular one at that with our wheelchair and limited mobility patrons. 

Please note a limited number of puzzles may be more challenging or difficult to access from a wheelchair, but as escape rooms are a team game requiring a mix of skills and abilities from team members, this should not affect your enjoyment of our rooms.

Please note, Cannibal is equipped to accommodate no more than one wheelchair per session.

Like all escape rooms, Cannibal is a controlled lighting environment. It may feature periods of complete darkness and/or flashing lights. Similarly, you might experience confined spaces and/or jump scares during your escape. If you have any concerns or questions, please raise these with our Gamesmasters at check-in.
