Terms and Conditions for Spooktober Sydney 2025

Promotion Period

This promotion is valid from Wednesday, 1st October 2025 to Sunday, 2nd November 2025 across Escape This Sydney venues.

Eligibility Criteria

• Promotions are available only to participants who book and play during the promotional period.
• Specific promotions apply only to players of designated room types, as outlined below.
• Escape This reserves the right to amend, withdraw, or substitute elements of the promotion at its discretion.

1. Best Dressed Competition (Sydney CBD & Manly)

• Teams or individuals attending in costume during the promotional period are automatically eligible.
• Winners may be determined either:
• By Escape This staff based on costume creativity and effort, or
• Through a social media voting competition conducted on Escape This’ official channels.
• By entering the competition, participants grant Escape This permission to use their photos and videos on social media for the purpose of the competition.
• The winner will have their room booking refunded in full to the original payment method.
• In the case of group costumes, the refund applies only to the booking as a whole (not per individual).
• Escape This reserves the right to withhold prizes if insufficient entries are received.

2. Zombie Launch Prize Draw (Horror Rooms Only)

• The Zombie Launch giveaway will be conducted in two parts:
• In-Venue Draw: All participants who play a horror-themed escape room at Escape This Sydney venues during October will automatically receive one (1) entry into the prize draw.
• Social Media Draw: Participants who follow Escape This Sydney on Instagram and/or Facebook during the promotional period will also go into a separate draw.
• Two (2) winners will be selected in total — one from each entry method — to receive a free Zombie escape room experience once the room officially launches.
• Both winners will be invited to attend the first available session of the Zombie room launch.
• If both winners are available at the same time, the first to confirm their attendance will be given the first session.
• If only one winner is available for the first session, the other will be offered an alternate session at no loss of prize value.
• Winners will be contacted using the booking or social media details provided. If a winner cannot be contacted within 7 days of notification, Escape This reserves the right to select a new winner.
• By accepting the prize, both winners agree to be filmed and/or photographed during their Zombie experience and to participate in short post-game interviews.
• By accepting the prize, winners automatically grant Escape This a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use the footage, photography, and interview material in promotional, advertising, or social media content.

Photography & Video Consent (All Spooktober Players)

• Escape This will be capturing photos and video throughout Spooktober for use in promotional material, including (but not limited to) social media, website, and advertising.
• By booking and participating in an escape room during the promotional period, players consent to being filmed or photographed for promotional purposes.
• If you do not wish to appear in any photo or video material, you must inform Escape This prior to your booking.

General

• The Gamesmasters’ and Escape This management’s decisions on eligibility, winner selection, and prize allocation are final.
• Escape This reserves the right to amend, extend, or cancel the promotion at any time without prior notice.
• By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Terms and Conditions for Perth Halloweek 2025

Promotion Period

This promotion is valid from Monday, 27th October 2025 to Sunday, 2nd November 2025 across Escape This Perth venues.

Eligibility Criteria

• Promotions are available only to participants who book and play at Escape This during the promotional period.
• Specific promotions apply only to designated venues, as outlined below.
• Escape This reserves the right to amend, withdraw, or substitute elements of the promotion at its discretion.

Best Dressed Competition (Perth CBD & Northbridge)

• Teams or individuals attending in costume at Escape This Perth CBD or Northbridge venues during the promotional period are automatically eligible.
• Winners may be determined either:
• By Escape This staff based on costume creativity and effort, or
• Through a social media voting competition conducted on Escape This’ official channels.
• By entering the competition, participants grant Escape This permission to use their photos and videos on social media for the purpose of the competition.
• The winner will have their room booking refunded in full to the original payment method.
• In the case of group costumes, the refund applies only to the booking as a whole (not per individual).
• Escape This reserves the right to withhold prizes if insufficient entries are received.

Vampire Flight Promotion (Northbridge Only – in partnership with Frisk Small Bar)

• All players at Escape This Northbridge during the promotional period are entitled to a 50% discount on the Vampire Flight at Frisk Small Bar: four (4) tasting pours of Nosferatu Gin with garlic bread for $15 (usually $30).
• Redemption of the offer is subject to availability at Frisk Small Bar.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) applies at all times. Frisk staff reserve the right to refuse service to any person who is intoxicated, underage, or unable to provide valid ID.
• Offer is not redeemable for cash and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion.

 Prize Cauldron Lucky Dip (Northbridge Only)

• All players at Escape This Northbridge during the promotional period will be entitled to one (1) lucky dip entry per person.
• Prizes may include (but are not limited to): Escape This experiences, drinks vouchers from Frisk Small Bar, or novelty items such as spooky temporary tattoos.
• Voucher prizes are subject to the individual terms and conditions stated on each voucher:
• Escape This vouchers and Frisk Small Bar vouchers each carry their own unique redemption conditions, expiry dates, and usage restrictions.
• These conditions are clearly labelled on the voucher itself and may differ between the two venues.
• Prizes are distributed at random and cannot be exchanged, refunded, or transferred.
• Escape This makes no guarantee that all prize types will be available at all times.
